Greenberg Academy for Successful Aging

In July 2001, a collaborative project was initiated between Hospital for Special Surgery's Education Division and New York Presbyterian Hospital's Irving Sherwood Wright Center on Aging, a primary care medical practice serving older adults. The collaborative project, entitled Greenberg Academy for Successful Aging, develops and implements health education programs aimed at the interests and needs of people age 60 and over. The project has conducted many lectures, workshops and exercise classes since its inception last summer, reaching over 350 participants and receiving positive feedback and praise from them.
